On her favorite spot on the couch in Easton
In loving memory of our Liffey who we love so much. Liffey will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
Jim adopted Liffey in April 2012 at an event sponsored by the Washington Animal Rescue League while Lisa and I were in Ireland and England. So we named her after the river in Dublin. She looked a lot like our cat Luna, whom we lost in 2006.
Liffey soon settled into the house. She loved to sit on the porch in the warm weather. And at nights she loved to sit in the recliner with me.
In April 2014 we decided to move to Easton, Maryland, from Wheaton, near Washington, D.C. For a bit we left her back in Wheaton, but we were back about every other day. Several times we took her back and forth, and she handled the trips very well. She certainly helped us ease into our new location.
